Zion National Park, UT

We’ve been to some pretty spectacular places in our travels, but few are on the same scale as Zion.

From the moment you enter the park you are surrounded by huge formations of many different types and shapes.  As with so many of the places we’ve visited, Zion is better explained by photos than by words.  When we drove through, the main road was under construction, but it’s a lot easier to put up with construction delays when the scenery is so gorgeous than it is at other times.  When we were going through the tunnel we were teased by views through the ‘windows’ in the tunnel.  Fortunately, we were able to see them all once we got through the tunnel and were driving out toward the south end of the park.  Zion is a must-return-to place for us.

The rest of the story is in the photo album.
