Ecliptic Brewing

Ecliptic Brewing

The last of the breweries we tried on this visit was Ecliptic Brewing, which is located in an industrial area.  We visited for dinner.  The interior is rather bare bones, but even though the room we were in (which is where the bar is) was full, it was not too noisy for us to be able to carry on a conversation.

We ordered a beer sampler, which included six beers.  Ours included the Capella Porter, Tarantula Belgian Dubbel, Oort Imperial Stout, Pegasus ESB, Orbiter IPA, and Rigel Sparkling Riesling Ale.  All of them were interesting, some better than others.

The food offered here is mostly vegetarian and was quite good.  The plates and portions looked like what you would expect at a fancy, high end restaurant.  They used interesting ingredients and combinations.

While this was not our favorite brewery from the trip, it was definitely worth the visit.  It was a nice experience with good food, good beer and good service.

You can find more information at their website: http://eclipticbrewing.com/.  And there are a couple of additional photos in this album.
